CBS - Centre de Biochimie Structurale, Montpellier - FRANCE.

The Centre de Biochimie Structurale was created in January 1993 by Dr. J-M Lhoste. It is now directed by Dr. Michel Kochoyan. Since its creation it has harboured several groups in Structural Biology, characterized by a very broad range of interests: NMR, Protein Crystallography, Bioinformatics, AFM, biophysics, etc. The CBS is involved in many large projects, including Nuclear Receptors screening, kinases structures, lipid transfer proteins, etc. It is operated as an opened platform (plate-forme RIO) accessible to all French academic groups.
It is also the home of the well-known bioinformatics ABCIS group.
The NMR group is particularly developed, with more than ten people, with interests in protein and RNA structure, protein dynamics, protein folding, NMR methodology, molecular diffusion.

Tectospin. Versailles - FRANCE.

Tectospin is the NMR Research Group of the University of Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines (UVSQ), a member of the Institut Lavoisier.
It was founded by Dr. Francis Taulelle when moving his group from Strasbourg with the support of the CNRS, UVSQ and the Région Ile de France, in a common project with IREM of structural elucidation by combining NMR, diffraction and modelling.
Initially studying mainly inorganic and hybrid inorganic/organic crystalline materials, the group has developed into molecular materials, organic crystals and polymeric materials.
Its main activity is developing new methodologies, instrumentations and software to study the crystallogenesis process, to solve structures on polycrystalline powders by combining NMR, modelling and diffraction.
